About Us

Pieter Grootes is the owner of Networks Anonymous.  
He has over 20 years’ experience in the ICT sector, covering mobile, FTTH and FWA network Project Finance.  He also advises on regulatory economics and PPPs in the ICT and  other sectors.  He provides services to the Presidency, the Digital Council Africa, financial institutions and other research houses.  Some of the projects he has been involved with recently include: 
  • Advising the Digital Council Africa on the Impact of 5G on the South African economy
  • Advising the Presidency and Business Leadership South Africa on auctioning of High Demand radio frequency spectrum
  • Appointed Advisor to the Free State Government to develop a Digital Economy Master Plan post COVID 19
  • Invited member of the national government ICT COVID-19 response team
